Unlike conventional cabins, our installation evolves into a pavilion, hosting a participatory library and a guinguette to refresh swimmers and walkers. Its vertical, circular shape evokes lighthouse architecture, with façades visible from all angles.
Composed like a classical column—with a base, shaft, and capital—it uses sustainable materials like salt-crust bricks and reclaimed wood. The structure is mobile and adaptable, reinforcing its role as a flexible landmark.
The cabin is divided into three spaces: a reversible guinguette, a participatory library, and an intimate changing area. As a work of art, it elevates this everyday object, blending aesthetics, functionality, and maritime heritage. Serving as a cultural and visual beacon, it celebrates the coast and invites visitors to reimagine its landscapes.
