Stool

This furniture project draws inspiration from the work of Italian designer Enzo Mari, renowned for his commitment to simplicity and the Do It Yourself approach.

The piece is built using mortise and tenon joints, a technique that allows for sturdy construction without the need for complex tools or adhesives. This approach not only highlights the beauty of raw wood but also pays homage to traditional woodworking techniques, embodying Mari's philosophy of accessible, straightforward design.

The interlocking joints create a modular structure, where each element reinforces the stability of the whole, reflecting a sense of honesty in the construction process. The visible connections celebrate the craft behind the piece, making it not only functional but also a statement of minimalist design. This furniture piece is a modern reinterpretation of Mari's legacy, emphasizing sustainability and encouraging users to connect with the process of building their own furniture.
